The groom stamps on a glass. Its done to remember the two temples in Jerusalem that were destroyed, as the groom swear loyalty to the city of David. It is a privilege to have been invited to Gor Banjara weddings. I was utterly surprised to see that the Banjara groom stamps on a clay pot as a part of the wedding rituals. I was able to take photograph’s, and they are presented in my book. Just one more example of traditions of my beloved tribe, that are similar to the tribes of Israel.
