If you study their use of colors, patterns and coins in head gears, you will find similarities that are difficult to explain, if you deny that these sisters have met at certain cross roads, and shared.

When I came across the book “The textiles of the Banjara” I knew I was holding a treasure in my hand. This book includes several dozen photos of patterns and symbols used by the Gor Banjaras, most of them from the state of Karnataka. It gave me the chance to compare the female dress code of the Banjaras with the dress code of the natives of Judea and Samaria in Israel.
